Yes, both of these programs are accredited by the board of International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM). These trainings have met rigorous international standards of accreditation, which will not only show your clients that you are professionally trained and qualified, but it will also increase their confidence in you as their chosen provider.
If you want to practice multiple healing therapies with clients to support them mind, body, emotion, energy, and soul with a trauma-informed approach, then the IWP Certification Program is for you. If you just want to learn how to better meet and support your current clients where they are through more aware and compassionate care, The Holistic Trauma-Informed Training is for you. Anyone can join either program, no previous experience necessary. While most students are currently licensed therapists or holistic practitioners, you can also enroll if you're a yoga teacher or coach wanting to expand into more qualified work with clients. Some students also enroll in the IWP Certification Program because they want to begin a whole new, fulfilling career as well.
No, previous experience is not required for either Program. You'll receive all the training, resources, and education you need in order to feel resourced, empowered, and confident as a practitioner/provider.
Students - including licensed therapists - have used Continuing Education credits towards their enrollments in these programs.
No, neither the trauma-informed education nor the Integrative Wellness Practitioner Certification make you a medical or mental health professional (aka: a doctor or a licensed care provider who evaluates and treats illnesses and disorders). The IWP Certification allows you to work with clients via alternative/holistic approaches. This can be a helpful supplement or addition to any medical treatment or counseling your clients may receive.
